The schedule for the men’s A and B league is finished and can be accessed here: Softball Schedule 2024. You can also access it from the “Schedules–>Men’s–>A League” tab.
We made several changes to it this year:
- Every team plays back-to-back double headers. No more bye’s in-between games.
- The field you ump/stat on will be the same field you play on. No more running across fields to get to your game or ump/stat responsibility.
- Each time you’re scheduled to ump/stat you will ump/stat 2 hours in a row and stay on the same field for both hours. This will allow games to start on time because you’ll already be on the field ready for the next hour. This also allows us to schedule you less nights for ump/stat responsibilities.
- Every time an A league team is scheduled to play, their corresponding B team will have a bye. And vice versa. No more depleting a B team when guys are pulled up to the A league.
- You will play every team once before you play teams a second time. No more playing some teams twice at the start of the season and other teams none until the end of the season.
- You will have two weeks between playing the same team a second time (except for 1 team you play).
- Your team will only have to ump/stat 3-4 nights this season (you will be asked to help with the younger leagues later in the summer though).
